Why Submit an Abstract?

The International Conference on Forest Therapy is built around the exchange of knowledge, experience, and emerging ideas. Individual abstract submissions provide an opportunity to present your work and contribute directly to the international conversation on forest therapy and nature-based health.

01

Share Your Work

Present research findings, professional practice, innovative programs, community initiatives, case studies, or emerging ideas that can deepen our understanding of forest therapy and human relationships with nature.

02

Join an International Dialogue

ICFT brings together participants working across research, practice, education, forestry, health, wellness, and related disciplines. Presenting your work creates opportunities to exchange perspectives with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds.

03

Build New Connections

Individual presentations can spark conversations that continue beyond the conference, connecting researchers, practitioners, organizations, and communities with shared interests and complementary expertise.

What We Welcome

Forest therapy is an interdisciplinary and rapidly developing field. We welcome individual abstracts that broaden the conversation and connect scientific knowledge, professional practice, and real-world experience.

Abstracts may be based on academic research, professional practice, education, community programming, policy, innovation, or other work related to forest therapy, nature-based health, and human wellbeing.

We especially encourage contributions that connect disciplines, explore new approaches, share lessons from practice, or provide perspectives that can help shape the future development of forest therapy internationally.

Abstracts may explore topics such as:

  • Forest therapy research and scientific evidence
  • Nature-based health and human wellbeing
  • Forest therapy practice and program development
  • Education, training, and professional practice
  • Forests, communities, and human–nature relationships
  • Innovation, policy, planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
