Technical Session Proposal

Propose a Technical Session for ICFT 2027

Organize a focused session within one of the six ICFT 2027 conference themes and bring together related presentations, perspectives and discussion.

About Technical Sessions

In addition to individual abstracts, ICFT 2027 welcomes proposals for organized Technical Sessions.

A Technical Session brings several related presentations together around a defined topic. Each session should fit within one of the six conference themes while giving enough focus for the subject to be explored in greater depth.

Sessions may bring together research, professional practice, clinical experience, policy, community perspectives or work from different regions. Each Technical Session is planned for a total duration of 120 minutes.

Developing a Session

The following points may be useful when preparing your proposal.

01

Choose a Conference Theme

Select the conference theme that most closely reflects the subject of the proposed session.

02

Define the Session Topic

The conference themes are intentionally broad. The proposed session should identify a more specific question, field of practice or area of research that can be examined in depth.

03

Plan the Presentations

A session may include several keynote presentations and, where appropriate, a panel discussion. Contributions may differ in approach or disciplinary background as long as they relate clearly to the session topic.

04

Prepare the Two-Hour Programme

The complete session must fit within 120 minutes. Consider how time will be divided among presentations, discussion, audience questions and other planned activities.

Conference Themes

Technical Session proposals should be submitted under one of the following six ICFT 2027 themes.
